Veteran's Affairs
The Veteran Affairs Office provides assistance to veterans, their families, and dependents residing in Adams County.
Eligible veterans with financial hardships may apply for temporary emergency assistance. We also provide assistance in applying for other benefits and obtaining information for the veteran such as:
- VA Medical Care
- Compensation and Pension
- Iowa Veterans Home
- Military Records
- Grave Markers
- Home Loan Benefits
- The Mission Act/Choice – Eligible Veterans can receive care at local medical facilities for low costs.
Veterans’ Affairs Commission
The Veterans’ Affairs Commission is all appointed by the Board of Supervisors for 3-year terms.
