Adams County Declared Federal Disaster Area

Adams County has been declared a Federal Disaster area and will receive FEMA services. Disaster Survivor Assistance teams will be in Adams County over the next few days going door to door to contact people who had damage from the storms on May 21st. If they do not contact anyone, they will leave information at the location to contact them for assistance.

posted 5/31/24 · Emergency Management Adams County has been included in the Governor's Disaster Proclamation which allows state resources to be utilized to respond to and recover from the effects of the severe weather and activates the Iowa Individual Assistance Grant Program and Disaster Case Advocacy Program.
