Shipley moved, seconded by Maynes to appoint Bill Lyddon to the Civil Service Commission. All supervisors voted aye.  Motion carried.

Department Head Reports:  Treasurer – Taxes are starting to come in. IT – working on updating the Election Laptops for the upcoming special election. He has also looked into working on a oversized printer from the Assessor’s office that is quite old and thinks it is at its end of life. The cost to repair is costly without knowing even then if it would work so he does not recommend doing that. Auditor – Received the new election equipment and were trained on it. It should be easy for the PEO’s to learn the new machines as they are similar to the old ones.

Chairperson Birt recessed the meeting until 1:00 pm to meet with OPN and DCI on design progress.

Meeting reconvened at 1:00 pm. Discussion was held with OPN and DCI and new concepts were presented. The group also discussed the upcoming open house on August 28th at 2:00 pm.

Committee and Meeting reports were presented as follows:  Akin – ACEDC, Corning, August 18, Calhoun-Burns, Corning, August 16; Maynes – IA- ICAA, Zoom, August 19; Dixon – WIOA, Zoom, August 17, Trolley, Creston, August 19; Shipley – Calhoun-Burns, Corning, August 16, Main Street, Corning, August 15; Birt – Conservation, August 4, DHS/DCAT/JCS, Creston, August 19.

Akin moved, seconded by Shipley to adjourn the meeting at 3:05 pm. All supervisors voted aye.  Motion carried.
